Last week, I shared The Story behind our arrival to New York and first fashion shows. This week, I’m looking forward to sharing three more collections from our time at New York Fashion Week.
In between shows, Neema and I decided to take stroll through the West Village. This is by far my favorite area of the city. There’s a cozy cafe on every corner, brownstones with oversized stoops, and blocks of tree lined streets. I only wish we could have stayed long enough to see the autumn colors set in. In the spirit of my favorite season, I opted to wear another fall look I’m loving, the bell sleeve.
Wearing this Eliza J. dress was an easy decision. Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I love the romance this dress created with the bell sleeve and all-over lace. Speaking of romance, this is the perfect dress for fall weddings. I accessorized with nudes (these heels are so comfortable) but it would look gorgeous with oxblood pumps.

I can’t wait to go back to Fashion Week to experience more runway magic. Until then, here are three more of my favorite designers from our trip.
DAN LIU // Embroidery, patterns, and flirty sleeves were all I could think about walking out of Dan Liu’s show. I particularly loved this collection is it geared towards an ultra feminine style and color palette. This first dress (I mean pink and pleats…) was defintely a highlight from the collection.
CRISTAHLEA // Another set of Australian sisters stole my heart with this collection. Every single dress was intricately designed. The embellishments, ruffles, and attention to (cough cough) detail put them at the top of my list for show-stopping collections.
CON ILIO // Where do I start? These dresses received a well-deserved standing ovation from the audience. The formal gown collection featured unique, structured bodices, lush textures, and cathedral trains totally worth tripping over.
I’ll have one more NYFW post highlighting a few of my favorite places to visit in NYC. Stay tuned!
