There are so many reasons to love this time of year. The
shopping crisp air, the major sales changing leaves, the excuse to spend extra money time with family…okay, okay. I really do love all of those things but I can’t deny my excitement for holiday shopping. So much so that I’ve already sifted through 130+ pages (wild Friday night!) of the sale and rounded up my top picks for your shopping pleasure.
With a chill in the air, it’s time to load up on outerwear essentials. One trend I’m obsessing over this fall is camel colored coats. If you’re looking for a bargain, you can’t beat this peacoat or this wool classic. If you’re looking to spend a little more, this Vince cashmere trench and Trina Turk shawl collar coat are the perfect investment pieces. I also can’t get over the buttery, camel leather jacket. The tailored shape and “sand” color puts this item at the top of my list.
Lately, I’ve had a soft spot for creamy ruffles. I recently purchased this victorian ruffle blouse and have been wearing it non-stop (as seen in the hero image above). I also plan on snagging this romantic ruffle v-neck blouse — perfect for a date night look. And for a more casual feel, I’m reaching for a soft plaid button up like this one by Madewell or Cupcakes and Cashmere.
Gals, it is time to stock up on denim. If you haven’t noticed, I’m wide leg crazy (see here, here, and here) and love these high rise flares or this bootcut option. Speaking of flares, these wide leg crop trousers a la Olivia Palermo are finally on sale! And lastly, if you own a pair of slides, you need these or these…or both. Definitely both.
DRESS TO IMPRESS
With our calendars already packed with parties, now’s the perfect time to score your holiday attire for a
little lot less. My favorite holiday hue is naturally red! This big bow party dress and button a-line option are both on my wish list. In the same family, this bordeaux beaded neckline and this luxe lace dress also make the cut. Though not a dress, this crop jumpsuit comes in both black and hot pink and would look so cute paired with festive heels, earrings, and clutch.
SHOES ON SHOES
When it comes to shoes, I’m not even close to being “over” over the knee boots. Sleek, comfortable, and oh-so-slimming. I love this chunky heeled, suede option which comes in several colors. If black leather is more your thing, this Corso Como pair are a steal of a deal. For an investment piece, you can never go wrong with Stuart.
As you know, the smallest elements of our ensemble can bear the largest price tags. Now’s the perfect tag to grab designer essentials at a steep discount. These Karen Walker sunglasses are 40% off and this cashmere scarf is marked down 25%! And let’s talk about this structured bag, I’m obsessed.
With warmer months just behind us, it’s hard to think even think about spring. But with deals like this cotton shift dress and chambray wrap, it pays to plan ahead. Hey, you have to account for winter vacations, right? This tie waist top with these cotton, wide leg trousers would be the perfect look for dinner on the beach!
