| ROTHY’S FLATS |
Living in San Francisco, life seems to move at a rapid pace. One minute you’re pounding the phones at work, the next you’re pounding the pavement on the way to your yoga class. And if it’s any day between Wednesday and Saturday, you’re likely pounding a glass or two of wine post-workout. It’s a schedule that leaves little time for wardrobe changes and I know it certainly doesn’t leave room in my purse for multiple pairs of shoes to transition me from day to night.
I recently discovered a brand that designed a shoe specifically for the modern woman’s on-the-go lifestyle. Rothy’s created a collection of flats that are fashionable, functional, and eco-friendly. When I first heard their shoes were made from recycled plastic water bottles, I thought, “A shoe that helps save the planet? I can get on board with that.” My second thought was, “Wait, plastic bottles? How can they possibly be comfortable?”
Well, I’m here to tell you they are by far the most comfortable flats in my closet. The material is unexpectedly soft and due to its seamless knit structure, every pair is the perfect fit, no matter how wide or narrow your feet may be. Speaking of narrow, the unique cut and tailored look has a slimming effect. Trust me, I don’t just wear them for the comfort.
In terms of variety, there are two styles that come in an array of colors — the pointed toe and the round toe. You can bet I’ve got my eye on this blush pair. And here’s the final “kicker” — you can throw them in the wash. I know — game changer, right?!
I’m excited to share that this Wednesday, August 3rd, I’m hosting an event with Rothy’s and women’s networking organization, Six Degrees Society at the Rothy’s showroom! The Six Degrees team will be carefully curating matches based on your background and of course, you’ll have time shop Rothy’s collection. Grab your ticket here while you can — I hope to see you there!
