Recently, Neema and I attended our dear friend’s wedding in Aspen, Colorado. The invitation called for formal attire (black-tie and barbecue was the theme — how cute is that?!) so I jumped at the chance to “go all out” with this sparkly number by Adriana Papell. I’d seen this dress in darker colors, but couldn’t resist this blush option from her spring collection. I love how versatile this dress is. I wore it for an indoor, mountain spring wedding but it can also be worn for both tropical and winter black-tie events. And brides, it now comes in white!
The all-over sequins radiate elegance and the scoop back and sheer cap sleeves add a timeless touch — something I always strive for in investment pieces. Speaking of investment, while this gown may look like a million bucks, it will only set you back $280. Given the detail, quality, and versatility of this dress, it’s defintely worth the money.
